Huawei has been struggling with the availability of Google apps in their new devices. There are methods and tweaks like installing Google play store APK file from any credible web source but not everyone likes to go that way.
But finally, Huawei is executing a different strategy by collaborating with renowned mobile app companies. Recently, a big name in navigation applications, TomTom Go, has been launched on Huawei’s App Gallery.
TomTom Go Navigation offers offline maps, storage for 3D maps, lane guidance, region customization and few other practical options.
The only thing that keeps TomTom out of everyone’s recommendation is the pricing. The app is not free like Google Maps. It costs $12.99 a year or $1.99 per month. You can get a free trial for 30 days but eventually, you have to pay to continue using the app.
Nevertheless, Huawei has taken a step in the right direction. Filling AppGallery with popular apps will prove highly beneficial for the company in the long run.
