Company History & Overview
The Water and Sanitation Agency (WASA) Faisalabad was established in 1978.
It becomes a subsidiary of the Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA). Generally, the objective was to provide services regarding Water Supply, Sewerage, and Drainage.
WASA Faisalabad is parallel to the “Housing Urban Development and Public Health Engineering Department (HUD&PHED) -Government of Punjab” regarding administrative contexts.
WASA Faisalabad service area is currently 225 sq. km that comprises 113 urban UCs of four towns with total filed consumers 2, of 60,000. In addition to that, WASA provides sewerage services and water services to about 72% and 60% of the city, respectively. For completing the various tasks, 2,200 personnel are working in 11 Directorates.
